Objective: Name and describe the general relationships among the three steps of cellular respiration.

glycolysis: breaks 1 molecule of glucose into 2 molecules of pyruvic acid
Krebs cycle: takes products from glycolysis (in the form of acetyl coenzyme A) and extracts "high energy" electrons (using redox reactions).
electron transport system: takes electrons from glycolysis and the Krebs cycle and uses them to form ATP.
