4150 & 4770: Linda Thornell
Hi, My name is Linda Thornell. APICS, The Educational
Society for Resource Management, certifies me at the Fellow level, which
is pretty exciting to me. I have been teaching at Weber State
University since it began this partnership with APICS in 1987. I really
enjoy teaching these courses and hope that you can feel the excitement
and relevance of the material that is presented. My
goal is to help you prepare for the international certification exam
administered by APICS and to learn some techniques that you can apply in
your work environment. But I also hope that you enjoy this experience
enough that you develop a desire to continually learn about production
and inventory management. I really believe that the process lasts your
entire life. And, as with any other aspects in education, you will also
be exposed to concepts that relate to the non-business aspects of your
life.
